What the Champaign store looks like today. It has a blue counter, pale floor tile and light wood benches.

1 · Menu

The soft-launch menu was printed on a long white sheet. Small cream and sage cards sat next to it. The only photos we have are from the opening-week tasting.

2 · Posters

We have the three poster designs. We have no photo of a poster printed and hanging in the store, and we are not sure one was ever hung.

No real photo, only design files. The store has to shoot this.

3 · Drink cards

The three watercolor cards Champaign has. These are the painted files. We have no photo of a printed card.

4 · Small scenes

The scene box does not exist yet. The closest thing is how Champaign styles its drink-of-the-week photos: one drink, a plant, a coaster, and the raw ingredient in a small dish. The text on these was added for Instagram.

5 · Walls and wall hangings

Champaign has almost nothing on its walls, and the design book has no wall set. These show the walls as they are.

6 · Cup labels

The label that runs up the side of the cup. We have plenty of photos of this one.

7 · Brew card

The cream card about the matcha, in typewriter type.

8 · Table cards and coasters

There are no table cards in Champaign yet. The coasters in the photos are plain wood and stone props with no logo.

9 · Pickup counter

There is no logo backdrop yet. These show the counter as it is now.

10 · Lid station

There is no lid station yet. These top-down shots are the picture it should make easy to take: the dusted powder and candy daisies on top, before the lid goes on.

11 · Mirror spots

We have no usable photo of a mirror in the Champaign store. One April post shows a mirror, but customers' faces are in it, so it is left off this page.

Photos we still need from the store for Kayla

A phone is fine. Daylight, no customers in frame. Send them to Jack and we will add them here.

• The store. A wide daytime shot of the front, and one wide shot of the whole room from the door.
• Menu. The menu where customers read it today (wall, counter or screen), shot straight on so the text is readable.
• Posters. Any poster that is up in the store right now, with something next to it for scale. If none is up, tell us.
• Drink cards. A printed drink card in the store, if one exists: where it sits and how big it is.
• Small scenes. The table and corner where these were shot, pulled back so we can see the whole setup and where the light comes from. Then the finished scene box on Sept 23.
• Walls and wall hangings. Every wall straight on, one photo each, with the rough width. A close-up of the blue framed piece.
• Cup labels. The roll or sheet the labels come on, and the under-cup label on a real cup if it is in use.
• Brew card. The card flat on a table, straight on, front and back, so the words can be read.
• Table cards and coasters. The tables by the door, empty, from above and from a seat, so we can size the card and the coaster.
• Pickup counter. The exact spot where a customer is handed the cup, shot from where the customer stands, and the wall behind it with its width.
• Lid station. Where lids go on today, and the light above that spot.
• Mirror spots. Any mirror in the store, straight on, with nobody in it. Palo Alto needs its own two shot as well, with a tape measure in frame and the nearest outlet: the list is on the mirror page.
